The City of Greenville’s Financial Services Purchasing Division has been awarded the 2011 Sustained Professional Purchasing Award by the Carolinas Association of Governmental Purchasing (CAGP).

The award, the highest a purchasing division can win in the Carolinas, is given to agencies that demonstrate excellence in purchasing standards during a calendar year.

Award criteria include the use of technology, minority outreach, staff certification, customer training, vendor training and the use of recycled products.
