0 Comments | Leave a Comment

This letter is to let citizens know about a candidate for District Court Judge. In March, the people of Pitt County should cast their vote for Daniel Hines Entzminger.

I have known Daniel Hines Entzminger since I was a student at Pitt Community College. Daniel grew up in Greenville. His grandfather was George Hines, and Daniel worked in his grandfather’s seafood restaurant, the Dixie Queen, before attending law school at Campbell University.

For well over a decade, Daniel has been practicing law in Greenville and teaching at Pitt Community College. When he is not in court, Daniel is coaching his daughters’ soccer and basketball teams, or helping out with high school mock trial competitions. His wife, Holly, is a middle-school teacher at A.G. Cox, and his brother, Phillip, is an Assistant District Attorney for Pitt County. Daniel’s mom taught at Farmville Central High School and Pitt Community College before retiring. Additionally, Daniel has family members in both the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Greenville Police Department.
