Hannah Elizabeth Darden Brown and John Frederick Criscitiello were united in marriage on April 30, 2016 at 6:00 p.m., sound side of her family’s home in Pine Knoll Shores. The Rev. Jonathan E. Strother officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride was escorted by her father.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Sherrod Brown of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Watson Brown of Greenville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Carr Darden of Farmville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Dale Criscitiello of Plymouth. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Frederick Criscitiello and the late Mrs. Vera Criscitiello Morris of Maysville, NC, the late Mr. Linwood Mills, Sr. of Pleasant Hill, NC and the late Mrs. Elizabeth D. Mills of Kinston.
A reception was given by the parents of the bride at The Coral Bay Club in Atlantic Beach. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the parents of the groom at the North Carolina Aquarium in Pine Knoll Shores.
The bride is a graduate of J.H. Rose High School and the College of Charleston. She is employed at East Carolina University, College of Business.
The bride was presented by the Terpsichorean Club of Raleigh at the 2000 Debutante Ball. She was in the 2003 Fiesta Court of The Order of the Alamo in San Antonio, TX.
The groom is a graduate of Plymouth High School, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, Campbell University. He is a partner at Lanier, King & Paysour, Attorneys at Law.
After a honeymoon to Charleston, SC, the couple have made their home Greenville, NC.
