A breast cancer survivor was the winner of Pitt County’s flag redesign contest.
Christina “Tina” Duncan received a $75 award. Her design will become a flag that will be flown at the Pitt County office building and used at special events.
The Pitt County Board of Commissioners recognized Duncan and two other winners during its Monday night meeting.
