A car was traveling 65 mph in the median before it crashed into a utility pole Sunday and shut down South Memorial Drive for several hours.

An investigation continued into the wreck Monday while the driver, Chee Lee, 26, of Greenville was in good condition at Vidant Medical Center.

No charges had been filed against Lee by Monday afternoon, but Greenville Police Department Sgt. Joe Friday said impairing substances may be a factor in the crash.
