Drama workshop

East Carolina University’s School of Theatre and Dance will hold a drama workshop for children from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Messick 206. The workshop is for children in grades K-5. Cost is $20. Visit www.ecuarts.com to register or call Patch Clark at 328-1196.

Science festival

GO-Science will hold its Science Festival from 2-5 p.m. at Eppes Recreational Center, 400 Nash St. The free event will feature interactive activities as well as free food and drinks. Space is limited. Register to attend by emailing rogerconner@go-science.org.

Ahoy Mateys!

PirateFest will be held in downtown Greenville from 5-9 p.m. today with the Buccaneer Bash and from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. The event includes live music, arts and crafts, food, activities, roving and performing pirates and a best-dressed pirate contest.
