What Democrats want to murder first-born males? Your God, Yahweh was all about murdering people. Abortion is not about a political party. If you consider that to be murder and condemn it, then you must condemn your own religion for promoting murder in the Old Testament. I wonder if Twitch ever had an ORIGINAL anti-Christian thought (not something he found on an anti-Christian website) in his entire life... He may be a pretty good guy in person, but I'm afraid his "thinker" is "thunk" out... I suspect Twitch might one day be like the Prodigal Son, who one day "came to himself" and realized the folly of his ways. He returned to his roots, asked for his father's forgiveness and facing the truth, which he had known since childhood: Luke 15: [15] And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. [16] And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. [17] And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! [18] I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, [19] And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. [20] And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. [21] And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. [22] But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: [23] And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: [24] For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

What about all the other commandments in the Old Testament where God is saying to murder people for all sorts of reasons? I know liberals don't know the difference, Twitch, but "murder" is UNLAWFUL killing while a "lawful killing" is justice, in conformity with nature's law... Explain to me the justice in killing 54 million unborn babies, Twitch...

I understand the frustration by the believers..........Twitch's posts offer challenges not easily explained, especially given the constraints of the sandbox.........But I can't help but find it ironic when we have bunch of believers kicking sand and not walking in love..........and the subject at hand is supposed to be the love of God...........It doesn't feel right to me.....What happened to 70 x 7?

Mike: "But I can't help but find it ironic when we have bunch of believers kicking sand and not walking in love..........and the subject at hand is supposed to be the love of God...........It doesn't feel right to me.....What happened to 70 x 7?" Love does not always require agreement or a change of heart, but truth does which is the ultimate kind of love. Love doesn't require we go along quietly with liars or bow down to agree in/with lies esp. when we know its harmful to mission, the cause, the Way, etc. I have practiced 70x7 every day and learned quickly how to compartmentalize issues from people to stand firm for the truth. Apparently you are suggesting as liberals do, that if one loves you they allow you to have all say and to do whatever you feel without notice while not doing so for others. Not having an opinion that holds up under scrutiny is what is ironic for people playing both ways to illustrate they only want what's best for them - and yes, to hell what is right or best for others. Conservatives should start asking liberals to practice what they preach... give into and be tolerant of us for a change considering its what you expect.

Consider it tough love Mikey. Did Jesus drive the money changers from the Temple with a smile & kind word? No, he drove them from the Temple while brandishing a whip & "kicking sand" ( metaphorically speaking ) because he considered their actions to be sacrilege. Twitch isn't interested in anything but making a mockery of the religious beliefs of others, & I'm simply calling him out on it. As I mentioned earlier, I see it all too often from his ilk during the religious holidays celebrated by Christians and Jews. For some reason that I can't explain ( other than their obvious contempt and disrespect for the faith of others ) they choose holidays such as Easter to begin their blasphemous rants against the religious beliefs that millions of people consider sacred & I'm personally sick of it. Easter is the religious holiday when Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, and Passover is the religious holiday when Jewish people celebrate their release from Egyptian bondage, & as much as Twitch and his atheist/agnostic ( or whatever ) ilk would like, it isn't anti-Jesus, anti-Yahweh day, although I'm sure Twitch and his ilk will continue to try.

"Twitch's posts offer challenges not easily explained...." Yeah,"challenges" like his posting that Jesus was a sucker and Jesus committed suicide. He has made other comments and raised questions that are not easily explained....by Twitch. He posted a whole list of such stuff that PCP so correctly calls "gibberish." The list was directed at wintervillegril with a "challege" that she clarify what he had posted. Added comment: Hey, Mikey, since you seem to be preaching tolerance and love to those of us who object to his tactics, and suggest we engage Twitch in a pleasant dialogue, why don't you take the lead. For starters, the following is a list of charges/comments he addressed to wintervillegirl in an earlier post: "WG, can you clarify these points about the nature of Jesus? Angels are non-human children of God created in Heaven. Angels are not non-human children of God created in Heaven. Adam was the first human Son of God, who by a miracle was given life and the first human Soul. Jesus was the first human Son of God. Jesus was the Jewish Messiah who doesn't want us to be Jewish. Jesus was the son of the Jewish God Yahweh. Jesus is the Jewish God Yahweh. We're all God's children. The Creator has an only child. Jesus was created by God in heaven with no mother before being sent to Earth. Jesus only came into existence with the virgin birth. God sent Jesus to die. Jesus got screwed over. Jesus was killed by humans against his will. Jesus committed suicide. The crucifixion appeased Yahweh because God is appeased by blood sacrifice. God is not appeased by sacrifice. That is a pagan concept. Rabbits and eggs relate to the Jesus story. Rabbits and eggs relate to a pagan festival. God sent Jesus to teach a different religion from his own and to shift the focus of worship away from him and change his holy sabbath. God sent Jesus to reaffirm Judaism and belief in Yahweh and to honor the Jewish sabbath. There are Roman records for the crucifixion as well as Hebrew records in Aramaic written by contemporaries of Jesus. There are no Roman records for the crucifixion nor Hebrew accounts in Aramaic written by historians." I eagerly await your explanation of these foregoing points.

You misuse the word "murder", but, of course, you know that...
I know liberals don't know the difference, Twitch, but "murder" is UNLAWFUL killing while a "lawful killing" is justice, in conformity with nature's law... Explain to me the justice in killing 54 million unborn babies, Twitch... PCP, you don't consider the killing of people who work on Sunday to be murder?? You think it is "lawful killing", do ya? Tell that to a judge. I guess only liberals know that it's murder.

My point is that this is Easter and I'm showing the origin of that word. And my point is to explore the origin of the things associated with Easter.
Hawk, are you somehow afraid of the Easter bunny and painted eggs? Does it threaten your faith? http://www.religioustolerance.org/easter1.htm
But you have on many occasions asserted the adopted practices Christians find in their own faith celebrations and I would like the opportunity to supply you with a simple truth to digest on the matter to help you understand...
It was done for both inclusion and in the attempt to shine the light of this awesome gospel of truth via our Lord Jesus to the lost to hopefully help THEM find their way. We are competing for the souls of man up against Satan.
Our celebrations and many things associated with those celebrations were incorporated in order to help those outside of the faith find their way, feel welcomed and more secure with a familiar feel to it - because all such things - like a Christmas tree or even an Easter egg - can also be used to describe very important depths of the Christian faith. These things helped faith find its way into a very dark and hurting world.
In the end, all who come to believe in "The Way" and gain understanding of Jesus and who He is, and what He did for us and the world... come to understand the mission and likewise, help to continue to spread its great love, sacrifice and joy to the least as well as the great.
I hope this somehow opens a door for you.
Belief is entirely up to you Twitch, but understand that Christians are human and we all make our mistakes just like you do... and never, and I mean never should you let what anyone says/does/wins or fails - never let that get inbetween you and God.
I have questions? Have you ever seen Big Foot? A real UFO? So many scientific marvels running around with claims that also produce no proof in real terms for most the humans that believe whatever is said. Yet you prove here all the time that you have faith in these particular items that have no proof at all.
Look more deeply into your subject matter and if you need truth, especially about Christianity beyond superficial flesh? Then seek, knock and you will find.
