Oh, I recall with fond memories those days when I enjoyed a bit of Canadian blend whiskey and a good cigar. Enjoy them both, my friend.
Thank you!

That's right. I have always dug your post, and have always said so right? Even when you say I'm a district attorney or call me tumbleweed.

Actually, I made it up as I was sitting at my keyboard..., but was afraid to take credit for it because it's too true... LOL. I was looking across the Senior Adult Sunday School class yesterday and counted 23 elderly widows and 3 elderly widowers. There isn't much hope for men to reach their late 80s, it seems...

. . why would you want to? My mother misses my father terribly, she lives by herself (her choice) is 89 and ready to be called home. What kind of future is that? A single man at 90 is a lonely soul, i don't care how many fun games you make him do a day. Heck my brothers gal, is 58, can't eat gluten, chocolate, sugar, coffee, red meat, seafood, soda's, ect,x 50. She can't be fed bread and water. I asked her "why do you even want to live?" These things keep me awake at night.

I asked her "why do you even want to live?" Why would you ask someone such a personal question? For me, whether one has a will to continue to live or not is strictly personal. In a sense, by the nature of that question, you are imposing your personal values on someone else.

. . . its a deep thought. As far as mom she does the will, but she wonders why? But point taken on the other and your right, it would be my reasons not hers. I'm pretty blunt, i understand.. old codger..LOL
