Pitt County Schools

The school system has announced make-up days for days missed due to inclement weather. Students will attend school on March 4, which was originally scheduled to be a teacher workday. In addition, early-release days set for March 17 and April 14 have been extended to full school days.

Christ Covenant

The school will present Disney’s ”Beauty and the Beast” at 7 p.m. March 3-4 and 3 p.m. March 5 at Unity Free Will Baptist Church, 4301 Charles Blvd. Advance tickets are $4 for students and $8 for adults and must be ordered online by March 1. Tickets are $5-$10 at the door. Cost of a family pass is $20. Visit christcs.com.


John Paul II

The March with the Saints, a benefit for John Paul II Catholic High School, will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Hilton Greenville. The event will feature jazz musician Carroll V. Dashiell Jr. and will include dinner, a silent auction and live auction. Tickets are $50 each. Visit www.MarchWiththeSaints.com.
