Crime: Hit-and-run driver sought

Police are searching for a driver who caused a crash Sunday night on Greenville Boulevard involving six vehicles.

According to reports issued by the Greenville Police Department, at approximately 9 p.m. Sunday a vehicle of unknown make and model pulled out of a side road onto northeast Greenville Boulevard and rear ended a motor scooter near the Best Western Suites. The motor scooter was pushed into the outside lane where the driver was thrown off.


A third vehicle, which slammed on brakes to avoid hitting the scooter, was rear-ended in the outside lane by a fourth vehicle. A fifth vehicle, which had stopped in the inside lane to avoid hitting the first vehicle, was then rear-ended by a sixth vehicle.
