Greenville police are investigating an early morning armed robbery and shooting Sunday near East 10th and Monroe streets.
Demarcus Troydell Black, 27, of Greenville told police he was shot in his upper leg and then robbed of his wallet and cellphone, according to the Greenville Police Department.
Greenville Police Cpl. R. Oxendine said police were dispatched about 5:20 a.m. Sunday. Black was transported to Vidant Medical Center.
