Greenville Country Club has announced the hiring of Rob Farmer as its new head professional. He will assume the position on Jan. 1, 2016.
Farmer replaces long-time pro Brady Pinner, who has moved to Wilson’s Wedgewood Country Club as its head pro.
Farmer will come to Greenville from Benvenue Country Club in Rocky Mount, where he became the first assistant pro in 2003. For the past 18 months, he has served as tournament director at Benvenue, including being in charge of U.S. Amateur Qualifiers in 2013, 2014 and 2015. The club also hosted the 2008 North Carolina Senior Four-Ball Championship and the 2005 and 2012 N.C. Mid-Amateur Championship.
