Hudson: Women have wisdom

I met my new BFF Wednesday.

That’s when Frances Schultz, a Tarboro native, spoke to me — and about 1,000 other local ladies — at the Power of the Purse Luncheon. She shared how renovating her neglected house rejuvenated her broken spirit. She was inspiring, gracious, chatty and witty — attributes I covet. She spoke my language, literally, and provided me with advice I can use to make my life better. I will be first in line to purchase my new BFF’s memoir when it’s published in 2015.

Schultz is a kindred spirit — and that’s what the women of Women for Women foster.
