It’s a hot-button issue for a lot of parents I know: Why don’t teenagers wear long pants when it’s cold?
I’m finding that there may be no short answer to this question, which has been the subject of some heated debate at our house since November.
Our youngest son is among teenagers whose cold-weather wardrobe choices make people shake their heads (and probably chatter their teeth). He practically refuses to wear long pants, even in the winter.
