Here’s a news flash: In a stunning upset, newspaper reporter has reclaimed the title of worst job of the year.
Print journalists beat out corrections officers and taxi drivers in CareerCast.com’s annual rankings, which were released last week. Lumberjacks, who led the list last year, have been cut down to the No. 2 spot.
Two other jobs in the field — photojournalist and broadcaster — also scored in the bottom 10 on the top jobs list, which rated 200 professions based on environment, income, outlook and stress. The top job, according to the report, is actuary, with mathematician, statistician and biomedical engineer scoring in the top five.
