At some point during a Friday morning round of FootGolf, a member of our group said something both profound and a little shortsighted.
Pirate Radio 1250 and 930’s Troy Dreyfus, Jonathan Ellerbe and Clip Brock joined your humble author at Bradford Creek Golf Course to play nine holes of FootGolf, a relatively new sport that mostly uses the rules of golf, but is played with a soccer ball and holes that are 21 inches in diameter.
Early on, when our competitive juices started flowing and our inquisitive minds began overanalyzing the approach to certain shots, Brock broke it down thusly: “All we’re really doing is just kicking a ball, guys.”
