GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) — A trial for a man charged with murder in Pitt County has been delayed a second time.

The Daily Reflector of Greenville (http://bit.ly/10BCYxn ) reports a judge granted the defense's request for more time to prepare for 24-year-old Willie Langley Jr.'s trial. It was supposed to start Tuesday after being first delayed in March. Prosecutors say the trial is now set for August.

Authorities say Langley shot and killed 60-year-old William Cooper outside his home during a robbery in August 2011.

Langley's case is one of 17 pending murder trials in Pitt County.
