MARSHVILLE — A South Carolina mother of three has been found dead after investigators found a wreck thought to have happened over the weekend.

Union County sheriff's deputies and the N.C. Highway Patrol say the body of 25-year-old Ashley Reynolds of Chesterfield, S.C., was found discovered in the wreckage near Marshville on Monday afternoon.

Reynolds was reported missing Saturday after she did not return home from visiting a friend in Union County.

Investigators think speed is thought to be a factor in the crash. They say Reynolds was not wearing a seat belt.
