JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Marine Corps officials say the commanding officer of Camp Johnson has been relieved of her command because of loss of confidence in her leadership.
Col. Sean Gibson told The Daily News of Jacksonville (http://bit.ly/HDQprQ) that Col. Terri Erdaq was relieved of her command of Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools and Camp Johnson. She was removed Friday by Brig. Gen. Niel Nelson, commanding general of Training Command.
Gibson says Lt. Col. Tim Seamon will serve as the interim commanding officer.
Erdaq assumed command in July of last year.
